Short Story

Once long ago there was an angry pirate named Long jon silver. He and his crew sailed the seven seas for years searching for the treasure of the whispering eye until one day they found it. The whispering eye was all they hoped for but angry pirate Long jon silver wanted so he got it.

Imagine That

You can feel the cool breeze brush against your cheeks and nip at your nose as you step through the snow. You hear the sounds of the thin layer of crust crack beneath your feet every time you penetrate the cold white blanket of frost, but you feel warm because your bundled up in warm fleece and wool.

you can hear the wind as it weaves its way in and out the the trees throwing little flakes of snow on your face like its dressing you with sprinkles, but they melt quickly as they strike your face and run down the sides of your cheek sending shivers down your spine, but the sun that's beaming down puts you back into that warm comfortable state you were in. As you spend more time hiking around you can start to smell the snow and it starts to freeze the inside of your nostrils but it feels good because the air is clean and fresh it wakes you up and heightens your senses you feel good because your at peace.

Novel Synthesis

In this blog it will be linking the novel Watchmen with the poem Ozymandias, which is about a great Pharaoh who, despite all his power, is now nothing more then a memory and has no real significance to the present day. Like Ozymandias, Adrian Veidt or by his super hero name Ozymandias has great plans and goals of making a name for himself, to be above all humans to be the ¨King of kings¨, but he knows having a huge business won't solidify his dreams of being ¨God¨ so he diverges on a plan to proove himself to history that he belongs in the books as the man who brought peace and unity to the entire world. He knows that the only way to go down in history is to effect the entire world, so with his plan he gets the smartest people, mainly Dr. Manhattan, to build nuclear devices to be ¨used against the Soviets¨ but really they are just his queen in his big game of chess waiting for the right time to strike using the rest of his super hero friends as the pawns.
